Our Services

There are three or four services on Sundays, each of different character.

  • The service at 9am is more formal than our other services and is either Morning Prayer or Holy Communion.

  • At the 10.30am service we have a worship and teaching service, with a Family Service on the first Sunday of the month and Family Communion on the third Sunday.  Worship is led by gifted worship leaders, vocalists and musicians using a wide variety of instruments as appropriate (organ, piano, keyboard, flute, violin, guitar, bass and percussion).  The majority of the hymns and songs are from Songs of Fellowship.  Dance and drama led by our Creative Worship Group are incorporated from time to time.  A Prayer Ministry team is available to pray with members of the congregation during and after the Sunday services. The children meet in their Cell Groups after opening worship in the 10.30 service, rejoining their parents for Family Communion on the third Sunday.  Family Service is on the first Sunday.  A crèche is available for very young children.

  • At 6pm on the first Sunday each month is an Informal Communion. The third Sunday is a Café style meeting with review of films.  Evening services tend to be more informal 'open' times of worship.

  • The 8pm Service is lead by the church youth.

The clergy do not usually robe for any of our services.   The laity play a considerable role in all aspects of worship, prayer and teaching during services.

All who love the Lord and have been baptised are welcome to share in the Bread and Wine at the Lord's table.

Sunday services are normally as follows:

9:00a.m.
First and third Sundays: Morning Prayer
Other Sundays: Holy Communion
These services are normally of a quiet nature, following the pattern of Common Worship.
10:30a.m.
First Sunday: Family Service - all ages worship together
Third Sunday: Family Communion - Children in Cell Groups and joining in with Communion at an appropriate point in the service.
Other Sundays: Morning Worship - all ages worship together for the first 10 - 15 minutes and then the children and young people up to the age of 14 have their Cell Group meetings.

A supervised creche is available for the younger children throughout the service.
Coffee is normally served after our 10-30 am service

6:00p.m. A time in which to draw close to God, to worship, listen, learn and receive as the Holy Spirit ministers through individual believers.
8:00p.m. A service which is led by young people, and is focused for those of a similar age.
