Phil.3:14 “I press on toward the goal to win the
prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus”.
Adult
Action Plan 2007
A. Action following Review: Bob Jackson highlighted two issues:
‘Do a few things
well’ and ‘Clarify
Cell
Church.’
1. ‘Develop Intimacy’: with God in prayer, worship and corporate
activity.
2. ‘Foster Community and Inclusivity’: with
each other. Become inclusive of all ages, culture, etc. not only to be a
‘friendly church’ but to make friends.
3. ‘Clusters’: to define their vision. Organise fun and social events.
4. ‘Cells’: to be more outward looking, and members to be “inviters” of friends
to grow to 5 Clusters and 20
plus Cells during 2007.
B.
Other areas of action to be undertaken during 2007 are:
1. Prayer
life: For
us to grow, prayer must be foundational to our personal and church life. Cells,
MAG (Missionary Action Group) and OOK (On Our Knees) to continue as shown in
centre page under “
Kingdom
of
God
.” A Week of Prayer and Fasting is planned from Sun.13th May, 6pm Service to
‘Half Night of Prayer’ on Sat. 19th May.
2.
Consolidate: the different ministries shown in the centre pages, so that the church
can become more effective in growing the
Kingdom
of
God
.
3.
‘Vision Precedes Provision’: therefore, present to the church the need to
invest finances, our time and energy to fulfil the Vision. We have a challenge
in 2007 to meet a projected £30,000 budget deficit.
4. Open
Front Door: a) Continue with 3 “Newcomers’ Welcome Lunches”, review
information leaflets quarterly and update website monthly.
b) Seek God for strategies to
accommodate and encourage growth, both
numerically and spiritually, to increase our adult membership to 300.
5. Close
Back Door: a) TLC to seek God how to follow up those ‘not seen’ in
the fellowship and to come up with recommendations.
b)
Organise a “Back to Church Sunday’ during 2007.
c)
Improve communication in the church.
6. Community: the church to have fun days together. Monitor
and review what we already do together to prepare the church for further growth.
7. Social Action: a) TLC to review what social action is needed.
b) Support the Youth with their Social Action.

Children Action Plan
